PHOENIX – July 23, 2013 – FATHOM and the City of Visalia, California (“Visalia” or the “City”) today announced that the City Council approved the contract with FATHOM to provide customer and utility billing services their utility‐to‐utility solution designed to exceed customer expectations while increasing efficiencies and revenues. The multi‐year contract was signed to support the City’s wastewater and refuse operations.
The FATHOM CIS platform will service approximately 40,000 accounts and offers Visalia an opportunity to provide high‐touch customer care with a superior level of automated services to customers, including online and mobile account access, paperless billing and pay‐by‐phone options. The City will also benefit from detailed auditing processes to ensure total billing accuracy.
